At Drop Point Systems, we are committed to ensuring transparency and user satisfaction in every transaction. This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed for any locker-based service or value-added offering on our platform.

1. Eligibility for Cancellation

Cancellations are only permitted:

  • Before a locker has been assigned for use, or
  • Before a delivery or pickup process has been initiated.

Once a locker is actively assigned, or an item has been deposited into the system, the transaction is considered final and non-cancellable.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued in the following scenarios:

  • Duplicate payments due to system error.
  • Transaction failures where payment was debited but no service rendered.
  • Verified cases of locker malfunction or non-availability of service after payment.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Delays caused by third-party logistics or carriers.
  • Packages not collected within the stipulated time.
  • Incorrect user information or unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

3. Initiating a Refund Request

To request a refund, please email us at support@droppoint.in with the following details:

  • Full name and registered contact number
  • Transaction ID or Order ID
  • Date and nature of transaction
  • Reason for refund request

All refund requests will be investigated on a case-by-case basis by our customer support team.

4. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days from the date of confirmation. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment used during the transaction.

5. Exceptions

Drop Point Systems reserves the right to deny refund or cancellation requests in cases where:

  • The request is found to be fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of our Terms and Conditions.
  • The service was used, accessed, or completed successfully.

3. User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree:

  • To use lockers only for legitimate, legal purposes.
  • Not to place any illegal, dangerous, perishable, or prohibited goods.
  • To retrieve items within the time specified.
  • Not to interfere with, hack, damage, or reverse-engineer any part of our infrastructure.
  • To maintain the confidentiality of OTPs and access codes provided to you.

Violations may result in suspension, penalties, or legal action.

4. Charges and Payments

All payments for locker access or value-added services must be made through our authorized payment gateway. Fees once paid are non-refundable, except as expressly stated in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

5. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for lost, stolen, damaged, or delayed items stored in lockers.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to lockers, nor take responsibility for third-party logistics errors.
  • Our total liability shall never exceed the actual service fee paid by the user for the specific transaction in question.

  • Our Services are provided “as is” without any warranty or guarantee.
  • We disclaim all responsibility for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
  • We do not verify the contents of any parcel and do not assume responsibility for its legality, safety, or authenticity.

7. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate your access to Services without notice if we suspect misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, technology, and branding of Drop Point Systems are the intellectual property of the Company and may not be copied, modified, or reused without permission.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana.

10. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and are effective immediately. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
