This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines how Drop Point Systems facilitates the delivery and pickup of packages through its smart locker infrastructure. By using our platform or lockers, you agree to the terms below.
1. Order Processing and Locker Delivery Time
- Orders and package deliveries to our lockers are managed by third-party logistics partners.
- Once a package is deposited into the locker, the intended recipient is notified immediately via SMS and/or app notification.
- Lockers are accessible 24/7, but delivery timelines depend on the courier or e-commerce partner used for the shipment.
Typical locker availability time post-deposit: Within 1 hour of item drop-off.
2. Package Collection Time
- Users must collect their packages within the allotted locker time limit (usually 24–72 hours depending on partner SLA).
- Uncollected packages may be returned to sender or sent to a holding facility at the courier's discretion.
- Late pickup may incur storage or re-delivery fees, depending on partner policy.
3. Shipping Costs
- Drop Point Systems does not charge users separately for shipping. All shipping charges (if any) are levied by the originating logistics provider or e-commerce platform.
- Locker access charges (if applicable) are shown clearly during booking or retrieval.
4. International Shipments
- International shipping is not supported directly.
- Our lockers are currently used only for domestic deliveries made by logistics providers operating within India.
5. Responsibility and Limitations
- We are not a courier service and do not handle the physical shipping of packages.
- We provide secure access infrastructure only and do not assume liability for:
- Delivery delays
- Damage during shipping
- Lost, misrouted, or incorrect deliveries by external carriers
6. Missed Deliveries / Locker Unavailability
- In rare cases of locker malfunction or full capacity, delivery may be rescheduled or rerouted by the logistics partner.
- Drop Point Systems is not liable for loss or inconvenience due to such rerouting but will assist users with support and updates.
